“54) And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master. 55) And her brother and her mother said, Let the damsel abide with us a few days, at the least ten; after that she shall go. 56) And he said unto them, Hinder me not, seeing the LORD hath prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master.” (Genesis 24:54-56)
Just as Abraham’s servant was tried by distractions that could have hindered him when he went to do the work of his master, we should not be surprised, when God prospers our way, to find that Satan will try to hinder us from fulfilling the work that our Master has given us to do. We must recognize the work of the enemy and carry through to completion the mission that the Lord has given us.
