“26) And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD. 27) And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren…. 48) And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master's brother's daughter unto his son.” ( Genesis 24:26,27,48)
The servant was obedient to his master, busy doing what his master had told him to do. Therefore, the LORD led him to the place he needed to go. The servant also worshipped the LORD and gave Him thanks for leading him. Do we want the Lord to lead us and show us His will? If God is truly our Lord and Master, we need to be busy obeying what we already know He wants us to do. As we obey, He will continue to lead us and make plain His will in all that we do. We must be faithful to worship the LORD God, to depend upon His guidance, and to give Him thanks for every answer to prayer and for His guidance and direction for each step along the road of service for Him. Lord, may I always be busy obeying what you have made plain for me to do, and may I remember to thank You for ordering each step of my journey on this earth.
