“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.” (Genesis 3:6) It was God’s desire for man to have a pure mind, free from the knowledge of evil, free from the passion to fulfil the lusts of the flesh and the lusts of the eyes. God wanted man to have a knowledge only of that which was good. “And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD….” (II Chronicles 30:22a) We are to increase in the knowledge of God, but not in the knowledge of evil. “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.” (Colossians 1:10) “For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.” (Jeremiah 4:22) "I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil." (Romans 16:19b)

About the Author
Hello! My name is Connie, and I live in North Carolina. The Lord has blessed me with wonderful parents, a wonderful sister, and a great church family . The past few years have been difficult in many ways, but God has been with me all the way. Much praise goes to the Lord for His guidance and wisdom in starting this website. I would also like to express my thanks to Valerie who has joyfully and willingly given of her time to help design this website and do much of the technical work. She and her family are faithful servants to the Lord. They also have gone through many trials in the past few years, but they have allowed God to use these trials to make them sweeter and more like His Son Jesus Christ. Rights:
