No matter what happens in the world around us, there is one thing we can depend on – our great God. He always was Almighty, always is, and always will be. He is greater than anyone can begin to fathom.
“Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?” (Job 11:7)
“Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number.” (Job 5:9)
“Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?” (Job 26:14)
“Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.” (Psalm 77:19)
“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.” (Psalm 145:3)
“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” (Romans 11:33)
“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God… For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (I Corinthians 2:10&16)
“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.” (Ephesians 3:8)
“28) Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29) He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30) Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31) But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:28-31)
